Troubleshooting Tips
No Reverse  Does your car drive fine in the forward direction, but hesitates going into reverse, or perhaps doesn't back up at all?  It's possible that this type of transmission failure may not be a serious problem.  However, before reaching that conclusion, it's best to give the transmission a thorough external inspection. There are many possible causes external to the transmission that could produce this type of problem.  It may be something as simple as a linkage adjustment, which is considered to be a minor repair.  We advise you to bring your car in for a Free Comprehensive Transmission Analysis.

Vehicle Will Not Move  If your vehicle will not move, or if you are afraid to drive it any further, we advise you to call us to have it towed to our repair shop so we can perform a Free Comprehensive Transmission Analysis. Vehicles may stop moving for a number of reasons, and we can better assess the problem by performing a transmission analysis on your car. The first thing we will do is identify why the vehicle stopped. There are several things we will check including proper fluid levels, making certain that all of the linkages and cables that should be connected are connected, evaluating the electronics of the transmission. We will then make our recommendations, which could range from an adjustment, to replacing external parts to an internal inspection. If an internal inspection is required, you will be notified at that time, we will give you the price of a soft parts overhaul. So please contact us and allow us to perform an evaluation of your car before you condemn it due to transmission problems.
